Expedition to Prusa Factory

On the 3rd of December, we explored the Prusa Factory in Prague. We were invited by a Prusa employee who stands by the collaboration between Prusa 3D and TECH CLUB Pavel Pelcak. We were guided through the whole building, starting at the Prusa factory hallway.

The fact that surprised us.

Employees working at the printing farm, where more than 300 printers were running at the time, did not have or any kind of protection.

However, scientists recommend not to breathe the polluted air in an unventilated room with just a single 3d printer running.

According to a two-year study by UL Chemical Safety and Georgia Institute of Technology, which shows that 3D printers emit airborne nanoparticles and volatile organic compounds that can cause cardiovascular and pulmonary issues

We have agreed on further collaboration with Prusa 3D.

About US Universitity with prof. Jan Švejnar

We had an amazing opportunity to record a video with prof. Jan Švejnar (Columbia University in the City of New York, Cerge-Ei.Cz) about the universities in the USA.

The main topics of the video are the admission process, the purpose of college, and the options of university selection.
